EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Callas told the media on the 15th that discussions around the EU on aid and financing arrangements for Ukraine have entered a critical stage, but negotiations on using Russia's frozen assets to support Ukraine will “become more difficult.” The last EU summit of the year will be held in Brussels, Belgium from the 18th to the 19th of this month. Member state leaders will focus on topics such as aid to Ukraine. Callas said, “We will not leave the venue until this week's summit makes a decision on how to finance Ukraine.”
