Skanska Lands SEK550 Million Contract to Develop Sports Facility in Sweden

01:49 AM EST, 12/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Skanska (SKA-B.ST) secured a 550 million-krona contract to develop an indoor arena and football field in Kungsbacka, Sweden, according to a Monday release. The contract forms phase two of a construction agreement signed between the Kungsbacka Municipality and the construction company in 2023, which covered the preparatory work for the project. Construction on the football field and the 14,600-square-meter arena is scheduled to start in the spring of 2026, with completion expected before the end of 2028.
