The Chongqing Economic Information Commission took the lead in drafting “Certain Measures to Support Future Industrial Cultivation and Development in Chongqing”, and is now publicly soliciting comments and suggestions from the public. The draft for solicitation of comments proposes to create a high-energy innovation platform. Support the construction of industrial technology engineering centers and innovation centers for emerging industries in future industries, and strive to create a national science and technology innovation platform. Each project is supported up to 50 million yuan. National science and technology innovation bases such as newly certified national key laboratories, national technological innovation centers, and national clinical medical centers in future industries will be supported by up to 10 million yuan, and the Chongqing Laboratory's “one room, one policy” will be supported. Municipal manufacturing innovation centers and national manufacturing innovation centers with newly certified or assessed results will receive support of up to 5 million yuan and 20 million yuan respectively. Support enterprises that are in a position to do so to take the lead in setting up industrial innovation complexes and provide support of up to 1 million yuan. Complexes that have already been built and physically operated are given operating subsidies on merit based on annual evaluation results.
