The Zhitong Finance App learned that data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in November, raw coal production in industries above scale (hereinafter referred to as regulated industries) remained stable, the growth rate of crude oil production accelerated, natural gas production grew steadily, and electricity production continued to grow.
I. Raw coal, crude oil and natural gas production and related conditions
Raw coal production has remained stable. In November, industrial raw coal production was 430 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%; the average daily output was 14.23 million tons.
From January to November, industrial raw coal production was 4.4 billion tons, an increase of 1.4% over the previous year.
Crude oil production is growing faster. In November, industrial crude oil production was 17.63 million tons, up 2.2% year on year. The growth rate was 0.9 percentage points faster than in October; the average daily output was 588,000 tons.
From January to November, industrial crude oil production was 19.25 million tons, an increase of 1.7% over the previous year.
Crude oil processing is growing steadily. In November, the amount of industrial crude oil processed according to regulations was 60.83 million tons, an increase of 3.9% over the previous year; the average daily processing volume was 2.208 million tons.
From January to November, the amount of industrial crude oil processed according to regulations was 67.57 million tons, an increase of 4.0% over the previous year.
Natural gas production is growing steadily. In November, industrial natural gas production was 21.9 billion cubic meters, an increase of 5.7% over the previous year; the average daily output was 730 million cubic meters.
From January to November, industrial natural gas production was 238.9 billion cubic meters, an increase of 6.3% over the previous year.
II. Electricity production
According to regulations, industrial electricity production continues to grow. In November, according to regulations, industrial power generation was 779.2 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 2.7% over the previous year; the average daily power generation capacity was 25.97 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to November, the regulated industrial power generation capacity was 8856.7 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 2.4% over the previous year.
By type, in November, according to regulations, industrial thermal power changed from increase to decline, hydropower grew rapidly, the growth rate of nuclear power and solar power generation accelerated, and wind power changed from decline to increase. Among them, regulated industrial thermal power decreased 4.2% year on year, with an increase of 7.3% in October; regulated industrial hydropower grew 17.1%, down 11.1 percentage points from October; regulated industrial nuclear power grew 4.7%, 0.5 percentage points faster than in October; regulated industrial wind power grew 22.0%, down 11.9% in October; and regulated industrial solar power grew by 23.4%, 17.5 percentage points faster than in October.
