On December 14, the Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Macau University of Science and Technology, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong signed an agreement in Hefei to jointly build the “Deep Space Material Composition Spectroscopy Joint Laboratory” and simultaneously launch a joint development mission for the Tianzhou-3 payload “laser heterodyne spectrometer”. The lab will focus on key scientific issues in deep space exploration.
