The survey received a total of approximately 51,000 valid responses. According to the survey, 4.6% of high school students who admitted to having abused drugs in the past year said they used medication almost every day, and 6.3% said they used medication several times a week. There are gender differences in drug abuse rates, 0.9% for boys and 1.7% for girls. When asked where to get the medicine, 54.1% of respondents said they got it from a pharmacy and 25.6% said they got it from home.
