Zhang Ke, party secretary and director of the National Health Insurance Administration, said at the National Medical Security Work Conference held today that during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, health insurance departments at all levels across the country recovered a total of about 120 billion yuan of health insurance funds through agreement processing and administrative penalties, and investigated and dealt with major cases such as insurance fraud in 4 hospitals in Taihe County, Wuxi Hongqiao Hospital, and 4 pharmacies in Harbin; recovered 9.5 billion yuan of fund losses through big data models and intelligent supervision subsystems; collected more than 100 billion traceability codes.
