According to the CNPC Engineering announcement, the Ugandan subsidiary of the engineering construction company, a holding subsidiary of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, provided a loan of 6.5 million US dollars to the Kingfisher Oilfield Consortium. The original agreement period was until April 15, 2026. It is currently proposed to extend until December 31, 2027, with a rolling interest rate of 6%. The matter has been reviewed by the company's board of directors and still needs to be reviewed by the shareholders' meeting. The Ugandan branch of CNOOC Engineering International will also provide the same amount of funding and extension. At present, the Ugandan subsidiary has disbursed US$2 million. After the extension, the company's total funding is still US$6.5 million, accounting for 0.17% of the latest audited net assets, and there is no overdue amount unrecovered.
