Engcon Teams Up with Volvo Unit, Others on Circular Innovation Initiative

06:18 AM EST, 12/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tiltrotators manufacturer Engcon (ENGCON-B.ST) joined AB Volvo (VOLV-A.ST, VOLV-B.ST) unit Volvo Construction Equipment, Mälardalen University, and Stena Circular Consulting on a circular innovation project. The Vinnova-funded project, titled Advancing Circular Lifecycles in Construction Equipment, will run from 2026 to 2028 and aims to develop new business models that integrate circularity across the construction and civil engineering industry, according to a Friday release. The partners will work on new service concepts, strategies for reuse and recycling, and provide input to support the development of industry standards and policy.
