Zhitong Finance App News, Willy (300190.SZ) announced that the company signed a “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement” with Primech Holdings Ltd. (“PMEC”, Party B for short) as Party A. The two sides agreed to jointly build a cooperative platform to focus on innovative R&D, scenario adaptation and application promotion in the field of industrial robotics technology, and work together to create robot solutions for high-risk, complex and restricted industrial environments.
Both parties agree that Party A or its subsidiary and Party B will jointly fund the establishment of a joint venture in Singapore. The registered capital of the joint venture is SGD 1 million, of which Party A holds 70% of the shares and Party B holds 30% of the shares. The core business scope of the joint venture is to focus on high-risk, complex and restricted industrial environments and develop “three-dimensional, intelligent, and evolvable” special robots, technology transformation and related supporting services.
According to the announcement, PMEC, as a leading integrated facility service provider in Singapore, has high-quality customer resources covering various fields such as airports, hospitals, commercial complexes, etc., and its holding subsidiary's robot business has also completed pilot verification and initial market development. Self-developed cleaning robots have verified stability and practicality in multiple scenarios; the company has been deeply involved in the field of energy saving and environmental protection for many years, and has accumulated a large number of environmental, industrial, and petrochemical energy business scenarios and extensive project operation data, providing a natural testing ground for the application of related technologies. In the future, the company will be mainly responsible for the scenario-based testing, verification and implementation promotion of robots, and will take the lead in applying products developed in cooperation to some process aspects of the company's existing projects, focusing on exploring typical scenarios such as confined space maintenance operations for environmental protection projects and inspection in the petrochemical field; while PMEC will undertake the main work of developing core robot technology.
