On December 11, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education signed a strategic cooperation agreement with JD Group and the unveiling ceremony of the Modern Riders Academy was held at Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University, announcing the formal establishment of the country's first “Modern Riders Academy”. Riders and couriers are expected to go to college to continue their education. In the next three years, the skills training at the Modern Riders Academy is expected to cover more than 100,000 full-time riders and front-line boys from JD in Guangdong.
