UK, Singapore Open New Regulatory Route to Fast-track Healthcare Innovation

The partnership intends to help companies avoid delays through a coordinated pathway for simultaneous engagement with the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and Singapore's Health Sciences Authority. With ongoing commitments with both countries, scientific innovation engine Flagship Pioneering will be the first company to access the new regulatory innovation route. The UK and Singapore are looking to safely boost patient access to breakthrough therapies in areas including cancer, neurodegenerative disease, obesity, rare diseases and advanced diagnostics.
