ACG Metals Pulls Out of Takeover Talks for Anglo Asian Mining

09:44 AM EST, 12/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ACG Metals (ACG.L) decided not to pursue an acquisition of Anglo Asian Mining (AAZ.L) following a thorough review since it revealed early-stage talks on Nov. 26. Copper industry-focused acquisitions company ACG said Thursday its evaluation of Anglo Asian's asset base showed that a deal would not create value for shareholders. ACG had until Dec. 24 to make a firm offer for the Azerbaijan-focused miner under the UK's takeover laws.
