(Nasdaq: ABEO) today announced activation of The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, as the newest Qualified Treatment Center (QTC) for the administration of ZEVASKYN (prademagene zamikeracel) gene-modified cellular sheets. ZEVASKYN, a first-of-its-kind, FDA-approved autologous, gene therapy is indicated for the treatment of wounds in adult and pediatric patients with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB).
