Smiths Group Signs Share Purchase Deal for Smiths Interconnect Unit Sale

03:59 AM EST, 12/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Smiths Group (SMIN.L) entered into a binding share purchase deal for the sale of its Smiths Interconnect subsidiary to Molex Electronic Technologies. The British engineering company's move follows the conclusion of the French Employment Consultation process with Smiths Interconnect's French works council, according to a Thursday filing. Closing of the deal is slated for the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory clearances and customary requirements. The transaction, which was valued at 1.3 billion pounds sterling, was disclosed in October 2025.
