Dana Gas Confirms Gas Discovery from Onshore Egyptian Well

02:13 AM EST, 12/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dana Gas (ADX:DANA) confirmed a significant new gas discovery through the North El-Basant 1 exploratory well in the onshore Nile Delta in Egypt. The gas company said Thursday that initial well results indicate estimated reserves of 15 billion cubic feet of gas to 25 billion cubic feet of gas. Dana Gas has now drilled four wells in its 11-well development and exploration program, with the company set to spud the fifth well in the first week of January 2026.
