12:51 AM EST, 12/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Deme Group (DEME.BR) secured three contracts to provide installation services at the BC-Wind offshore wind farm, according to a Wednesday release. Under the agreements, the Belgian engineering services group will install monopile foundations, inter-array cables, and the export cable at the project, which has a planned capacity of up to 390 megawatts. The wind project is owned by Ocean Winds, a 50/50 joint venture between EDP Renováveis (EDPR.LS) and Engie (ENGI.PA) in Poland. Deme intends to use its offshore installation vessel Orion and its cable installation vessels Living Stone and Viking Neptun for the project. It will collaborate with Belgian power transmission company Cenergy's (CENER.BR) Hellenic Cables unit for the export cable contract. Installation works are scheduled to be completed by 2027 and 2028, subject to financial closing.
