Despite significant macroeconomic pressure, consumer-side shipments increased 8% this quarter to 7.6 million units. Shipments in the commercial market remained stable, with a year-on-year decrease of less than 1%, while shipments in the education sector and government departments experienced a significant decline, falling 23% year over year. Despite two consecutive quarters of overall decline, Omdia remains optimistic about the market outlook for the holiday season. In 2025, US PC market shipments will increase by 4%.
