The 13th expanded session of the 13th Plenary Session of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held on December 9. Kim Jong-un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Council, presided over the meeting. The meeting approved five agendas, including a summary of the implementation of the North Korean Party and national policies in 2025, the work of the Central Inspection Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, and major issues relating to preparations for the 9th National Congress of the Workers' Party, and discussed related topics.
