Foundry Commercial is looking to replace an existing office complex used as a call center with two industrial buildings in Jacksonville. Foundry aims to convert the Concentrix call center at 8000 Baymeadows Way into over 400,000 square feet of modern warehouse and distribution space.
The Jacksonville Business Journal reports the site sits just east of Philips Highway with direct connectivity to I-95. This location has drawn steady interest from industrial developers seeking infill opportunities in the Southside submarket.
The Concentrix property was listed for sale with JLL in October. The call center company, which owns the campus, plans to vacate the building within six to twelve months once a sale is completed. JLL noted that Concentrix was willing to enter into a short-term, negotiable sale-leaseback arrangement to provide a buyer with temporary income during the permitting period.
