Russia's crude oil production last month was far below its OPEC+ quota last month due to difficulties in finding buyers for sanctioned crude oil, and Ukrainian drone attacks hindered refineries. Russian crude oil production in November averaged 9.43 million barrels per day, according to people who know the relevant data and requested anonymity in order to discuss confidential information. Calculations show that although this production is 19,000 barrels higher than in October, it is still more than 100,000 barrels per day below the country's November production target. This is also the biggest gap between Russia's actual reported production and OPEC+ monthly quotas in more than two years.
