UK Competition Watchdog Seeks Comments for CRH (UK)-Gibson Deal

08:00 AM EST, 12/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The UK Competition and Markets Authority launched a preliminary invitation to comment on CRH (CRH.L) unit CRH (UK)'s acquisition of Gibson Bros, Gibson Quarries (Banbridge), Gibson (Banbridge), T.H.Moore (Contracts), Gibson Bros (Ireland), and M. P. Coleman. The regulator is seeking input on whether the deal would impact UK competition, according to a Tuesday notice. The invitation to comment will close on Dec. 23.
