Wärtsilä Secures Equipment Supply Order for 120-MW Power Plant in Australia

01:45 AM EST, 12/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wärtsilä (WRT1V.HE) secured an equipment supply contract from Zenith Energy Operations for a 120-megawatt power facility in Kalgoorlie, Australia. The deal covers the engineering and delivery of 10 Wärtsilä 31DF dual-fuel engines, auxiliary and critical modules, as well as an operator interface and control systems, according to a Tuesday release. The technology group noted that the client's power facility is expected to start operations in 2027, subject to environmental and regulatory clearances.
