Sydbank Gets Danish Regulator's Nod for Aktieselskabet Arbejdernes Landsbank, Vestjysk Bank Merger

11:15 PM EST, 12/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Danish financial services company Sydbank (SYDB.CO) secured approval from the Danish Business Authority for its merger with Aktieselskabet Arbejdernes Landsbank and Vestjysk Bank (VJBA.CO). The process will see AL Sydbank A/S as the surviving entity, according to a Monday release. As such, Vestjysk Bank shares will be delisted from Nasdaq Copenhagen, with the last day of trading to be Tuesday, followed by an anticipated share exchange on Friday.
