Polar Power, Inc. (NASDAQ:POLA) shares rose 8.18% to $1.19 in after-hours trading Monday after the company announced a new management structure that assigns Chris Mayer and Arthur Sams separate responsibilities as Co-CEOs.

Polar Power designs, manufactures and sells direct-current power systems for telecommunications, data centers, defense, electric vehicle charging and microgrids.

New Co-CEO Responsibilities

Under the new structure, Mayer will handle public-company and market-facing responsibilities, including corporate strategy, financial performance, commercial growth, investor relations, strategic investments and subsequent funding.
