Firefly Neuroscience Inc. (NASDAQ:AIFF), an artificial intelligence company advancing precision neuroscience, partnered with NeuroSigma, Inc., a bioelectronic medical device firm, to expand clinician awareness and access to the Monarch eTNS System across the U.S.
Firefly will introduce NeuroSigma’s non-drug pediatric attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) therapy to psychiatry, neurology, and behavioral health practices utilizing its FDA 510(k)-cleared, AI-powered Evoke platform.
The collaboration addresses two critical needs in pediatric ADHD care by combining objective brain function insights with a non-medication treatment alternative.
A 2024 study published in the Journal of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology revealed that approximately 7.1 million U.S. children have received an ADHD diagnosis.
Notably, nearly one-third of the estimated 6.5 million children with current ADHD receive no specific treatment, as many families actively seek alternatives to traditional stimulant medications.
Firefly’s Evoke platform combines quantitative electroencephalography and event-related potential testing with AI analytics, leveraging a proprietary database exceeding 200,000 brain scans to deliver objective data on individual brain function.
In March 2026, Firefly identified EEG/ERP biomarkers using Evoke data that may help differentiate among the three ADHD presentations: predominantly inattentive, predominantly hyperactive-impulsive, and combined, assisting clinicians in matching appropriate treatments and tracking progress over time.
NeuroSigma’s prescription-only Monarch eTNS System is a palm-sized bioelectronic medical device that delivers mild external trigeminal nerve stimulation via a small forehead patch while a child sleeps.
The FDA cleared the device as a monotherapy for children ages 7 through 12 with ADHD who are not currently taking prescription ADHD drugs.
NeuroSigma launched U.S. sales for its second-generation Monarch device in July 2026 after building a waitlist of over 1,500 patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, subsequently expanding third-party installment payment options in September.
AIFF Price Action: Firefly Neuroscience shares were up 42.01% at $1.68 at the time of publication on Friday, according to Benzinga Pro data.
