An employee of a relevant company told Leifeng.com that currently the major Internet company plans to invest about 8 billion yuan, while ZTE hopes to proceed according to a business valuation of about 40 billion yuan. The final valuation, shareholding ratio, and transaction method discussed between the two parties are still in the communication stage. The employee told Leifeng.com: “In April of this year, the two sides have been discussing how to advance cooperation. Negotiations began again in July, and the final cooperation model was not agreed until September. It was previously planned to be announced at the end of October, but it should have been delayed.” The range of assets involved in the transaction is also under discussion.
