Basilea Pharmaceutica Gets $38 Million in Milestone Payment for Cresemba Sales in Europe

01:43 AM EST, 11/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Basilea Pharmaceutica (BSLN.SW) received a milestone payment of $37.5 million from license partner Pfizer (PFE.F) for sales in Europe of its antifungal Cresemba, or isavuconazole. The Switzerland-listed biopharmaceutical company noted on Tuesday that Cresemba's total in-market sales increased 25% year over year between July 2025 and June 2026 to $817 million.
