On November 2, Robust Healthcare said at the performance briefing that this year, the medical sector was affected by chemical raw material price increases, cotton price increases, and shipping rate fluctuations brought about by geographical conflicts, and gross margin was under year-on-year pressure; the impact of cotton price increases on the cotton era was relatively limited, relying on brand premiums and product differentiation to hedge cost pressure. Currently, cotton prices are stabilizing, but there is still uncertainty about the future trend of chemical raw material prices. In order to lock in the price of raw materials, the company prepared goods in advance and paid for the goods, putting pressure on operating cash flow in stages. Cost-side countermeasures include gradually transmitting price increases to overseas B-side customers; continuing to optimize internal operations through equipment efficiency improvements and implementation of digital systems; and continuously improving gross margin levels. In terms of exchange rates, the trend of RMB appreciation is expected to disrupt export business. This is also a common problem faced by the export industry. The company's response plan includes settling overseas payments as soon as possible after payment is received in an effort to reduce exchange losses; at the same time, take the opportunity to carry out hedging operations to hedge exchange rate risks.
