04:56 AM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Goldplat (GDP.L) raised the JORC mineral resource estimate for its 90.63%-owned Goldplat Recovery's tailings storage facility in Benoni, South Africa, according to a Monday filing. The new measured mineral resource, as of Aug. 31, stands at 2.3 million tonnes at 1.74 grams per tonne of gold containing 130,560 ounces of gold, of which 118,330 ounces are attributable to Goldplat. The previous estimate, as of Jan. 29, 2016, was measured, indicated, and inferred resources of 1.4 million tonnes at 1.78 g/t containing 81,959 ounces of gold. The mining services group added that it has not re-estimated the silver and uranium oxide resources from the 2016 report. Goldplat is now conducting a concept study for the facility's reclamation and processing, with feasibility and economic evaluations to follow.
