Kavango Resources' Gold Processing Plant Declared Commissioned by Zimbabwe's Ministry

04:55 AM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Ministry of Mines and Mining Development Matabeleland South declared Kavango Resources' (KAV.L) pilot gold processing plant at the Hillside Gold Project in Zimbabwe commissioned and operational. The London-listed metals explorer said Monday that the ministry approved the 50-tonne-per-day plant and its tailings storage facility on Oct. 30 after confirming compliance with mining, safety, and environmental standards. The facility will test Kavango's processing flowsheet and verify expected metallurgical performance ahead of an expansion.
