Phoenix Copper's Proven, Probable Reserves Jump at Empire Mine in Idaho

04:44 AM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Phoenix Copper's (PXC.L) proven and probable mineral reserves at its Empire open-pit mine in Idaho, US, represent a 31.49% increase in ore tonnes and a 26.31% increase in copper equivalent metal, compared with the inaugural reserve published in May 2024, the minerals explorer and developer said Monday. The mine is now estimated to host proven and probable reserves of 13.3 million tonnes at 0.41% copper containing 118.8 million pounds of copper, 0.32 grams per tonne of gold containing 134,600 ounces of gold, and 12.67 g/t of silver containing 5.4 million ounces of silver, for a total of 83,959 tonnes of copper equivalent metal.
