Adnoc to Deploy OpenAI Frontier Across Business Operations in Partnership with OpenAI, G42

The state-owned oil company said Monday that the system will run OpenAI's latest models on G42's sovereign AI infrastructure in the UAE, with human oversight of key decisions. It added that the platform will connect its existing AI, including the specialist subsurface AI ENERGYai, so operational, capital, and commercial decisions are made together. The initial focus will be on transforming field master planning into a single, integrated decision and using interconnected AI agents to forecast crude oil movements to improve decision-making.
