Hutchmed's Orpathys with AstraZeneca's Tagrisso Combo Accepted for Review in Europe, Japan

11:37 PM EST, 11/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hutchmed's (China) (HCM.L) application for Orpathys combined with AstraZeneca's (AZN.L, AZN.ST) Tagrisso was accepted for regulatory review in Europe and Japan. The combination treatment is for patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer whose disease has progressed after EGFR-TKI therapy, according to a Monday release. The pharmaceutical company said the filings are supported by results from the Saffron phase 3 trial and follow its September submission to the US Food and Drug Administration.
