The CPC Central Committee held a press conference on the morning of October 30 to introduce and interpret the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Zhang Fuhai, deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and deputy director of the State Supervision Commission, said that with regard to further improving the Party and state supervision system, this is an inevitable requirement for persevering in promoting comprehensive and strict government of the Party. The relevant deployment of the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Persistently Promoting Comprehensive and Strict Governance of the Party” has four main aspects: first, implementing comprehensive supervision by the Party Committee; second, strengthening the overall coordination of disciplinary supervision, supervision, stationing supervision, inspection and supervision; third, improving the grass-roots supervision system; and fourth, promoting the deep integration and efficient linkage of supervision within the Party with supervision in various areas to form joint supervisory efforts.
