Germany's Beiersdorf to Maintain Nivea Brand Presence in Russia, CEO Says

07:50 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Beiersdorf (BEI.F) is committed to protecting its Nivea brand in Russia, following the resolution of a local commercial dispute that affected the business's third-quarter performance. The German personal and skin care products company's chief executive officer, Vincent Warnery, told analysts in a Tuesday earnings call that Beiersdorf's Russian subsidiary and its domestic partner have settled legal proceedings and that Nivea has resumed its normal business operations. Warnery also said there is no change in the company's strategy regarding Russia. "We are in Russia since 1906. We know that if we had left Russia, somebody else could have produced [Nivea] without us. So we are there to protect the brand and to pay the salaries of our employees. Nothing more, nothing less," the CEO added.
