03:04 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Idorsia (IDIA.SW) enrolled the first patients in a US study of its insomnia drug Quviviq, or daridorexant, as the company aims to add daytime functioning benefits to the medicine's US prescribing information. The Swiss biopharmaceutical company said Tuesday the Dari-Dream study, which evaluates the 50-milligram dose in adults and older people with insomnia disorder, is designed to further characterize the drug's effects on daytime functioning. The study follows discussions with the US Food and Drug Administration and builds on phase 3 results showing improvements in alertness and cognition, as well as mood and sleepiness.
