08:28 AM EDT, 10/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Exchange-traded shares started the week lower as intensifying Middle Eastern geopolitical tensions pushed the Tadawul All Share Index 2.65% in the red on Sunday. Over the weekend, the Houthi group launched attacks targeting Riyadh and Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia. The kingdom's Saudi civil defence authorities said that the drone and missile attacks were intercepted. On the corporate front, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group (SASE:4013) and Modern Mills for Food Products (SASE:2284) logged higher attributable net profit and revenue for the third quarter. Astra Industrial Group (SASE:1212), on the other hand, logged lower results for the period. "This increase was mainly driven by growth in the hospitals and pharmacies segments, on higher patient volumes and occupancy rates in hospitals, which also increased pharmacy sales, in addition to growth in the HMG solutions segment compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Revenue growth during the quarter was further supported by the increasing contribution of hospitals opened under the Group's recent strategic expansion programme, which remain in the operational ramp-up phase as they progress toward optimal utilisation of their capacity," Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services said in its report. Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services closed 1.48% higher, while Astra Industrial Group and Modern Mills ended the session 8.09% and 0.40% in the red, respectively. Meanwhile, Arab Sea Information Systems Co. (SASE:7201) entered into a memorandum of understanding to sell its Arab Sea Financial Co., or SeaPay, unit to PayTabs Group. Shares of the software company closed 8.38% lower. Looking ahead to the week, the local calendar will see the release of the August export and import data on Monday, as well as the September M3 money supply and private bank lending numbers on Thursday.
