On October 23, the 4th China-Latin America Local Government Cooperation Forum was held in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. During the forum, Hohhot and San José de Mayo in Uruguay signed a letter of intent. The theme of the forum was “Deepening Local Cooperation and Sharing Green Development”. The participants had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the three topics of “connecting energy transformation and industry”, “characteristic agriculture and food security”, and “cultural heritage protection and cultural tourism integration”. More than 200 people attended, including local government and business representatives from 24 provinces, regions, and cities including Beijing and Shaanxi, as well as local government officials, envoys to China, and representatives of international organizations from 30 provinces and cities in 15 countries including Argentina, the Bahamas, and Brazil.
