Seattle, Washington-based Starbucks Corporation (SBUX) is a leading global coffee company that roasts, markets, and retails coffee through its North America, International, and Channel Development segments. With a market capitalization of $116.2 billion, the company sells coffee, tea, beverages, food, and packaged products while licensing its brands through stores, grocery, and foodservice channels.

SBUX is scheduled to release its Q4 earnings on Thursday, October 29, 2026, after the market closes. Analysts anticipate diluted EPS of $0.73, up 40.4% from $0.52 in the year-ago quarter. The company has also surpassed Wall Street’s EPS estimates in two of the past four quarters, while missing on two other quarters.

For fiscal 2026, analysts project EPS of $2.65, a 24.4% increase from $2.13 in fiscal 2025. Earnings are expected to grow another 19.3% year over year to $3.16 in fiscal 2027.

Starbucks’ outperformance has been supported by better-than-expected sales and earnings in its two most recent quarterly reports, alongside an improved business outlook. Following stronger-than-expected third-quarter results, Starbucks raised its fiscal 2026 global comparable-store sales growth outlook to nearly 6% and increased its non-GAAP EPS guidance to a range of $2.55 to $2.65, up from $2.25 to $2.45 previously.

Further reinforcing its commitment to shareholder returns, Starbucks announced a 1.6% increase in its quarterly dividend on October 7, raising the payout from $0.62 to $0.63 per share, equivalent to an annualized dividend of $2.52 per share. The dividend is payable on November 27, 2026, to shareholders of record as of November 13. The company said the increase reflects its confidence that disciplined execution of its “Back to Starbucks” strategy will support sustainable long-term growth and shareholder value.

Analysts remain cautiously optimistic about SBUX, with the stock carrying a consensus “Moderate Buy” rating. Of the 35 analysts covering the stock, 12 recommend a “Strong Buy,” two rate it a “Moderate Buy,” 17 assign a “Hold,” one recommends a “Moderate Sell,” and three rate it a “Strong Sell.” Meanwhile, the average price target of $109.47 suggests potential upside of 7.4% from the current share price.
