08:10 AM EDT, 10/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novartis' (NOVN.SW) Kisqali, or ribociclib, plus endocrine therapy showed "positive, clinically meaningful" overall survival in the six-year follow-up analysis of its phase 3 Natalee trial. The trial, which compared the combination treatment with endocrine therapy alone, showed that the former reduced the risk of death by 19.1%, with a consistent overall survival benefit across all key subgroups, according to a Friday release. The trial enrolled the broadest early breast cancer population of patients with stage 2 and 3 HR+/HER2- early breast cancer at high risk of recurrence, including those with high-risk node-negative disease and all node-positive patients. With the longer follow-up, the safety profile of the drug combo remained consistent with earlier analyses, and no new safety signals were reported.
