04:17 AM EDT, 10/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Geomet, the operator of European Metals Holdings' (EMH.L) Cinovec lithium project in the Czech Republic, granted in-principle approval to replace two gas-fired rotary kilns with a single tunnel kiln. The mineral exploration and development company said Friday the proposed change is expected to lower the processing plant's capital and operating expenses while potentially reducing carbon emissions through the use of electricity. The changes are not expected to affect the project's development timeline or environmental impact assessment permitting process.
