Unite Group to Sell London Academy School for GBP41 Million

03:20 AM EDT, 10/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Unite Group (UTG.L) exchanged agreements to divest the academy school at its Hawthorne House development in London, UK, for 40.7 million pounds sterling. The British student accommodation owner and operator said Friday the sale is priced at a 4.9% yield, representing a 2% discount to its June 2026 book value. Proceeds from the sale will initially be used to reduce leverage. Unite will still own Hawthorne House's 719-bed student accommodation.
