Hong Kong Investment Promotion Department: Helping about 550 domestic and foreign companies to open or exhibit in Hong Kong in the first September of this year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Hong Kong Director of Investment Promotion Liu Kaixuan said that in the first nine months of this year, it has assisted about 550 overseas and mainland enterprises to set up or expand their business in Hong Kong, and is expected to have brought in more than HK$70 billion in direct investment in the first year of setting up or expanding their business.

Liu Kaixuan said that the department's support will not end once the company has settled in, but will continue to assist the enterprise in establishing a local network, finding partners, and helping to prepare for the next stage of growth, including opening up the international market. She said that through special overseas classes for mainland enterprises, more than 300 mainland enterprises have been supported to set up or expand their business in Hong Kong, and many of them have expressed their desire to further expand overseas through Hong Kong. The Department has also organized more than 20 promotional events, attracting the participation of more than 5,000 business representatives.
