Reolink Launches the OMVI 2i Ultra, Now Available for Purchase, Expanding the Award-Winning OMVI Series with Wire-Free, Solar-Powered Security

The newest OMVI camera combines dual-view coverage and intelligent SyncTrack Tracking in a bullet-PTZ design to deliver smarter protection and greater visibility

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Reolink, a global smart home security brand, has launched its newest addition to the award-winning OMVI Series. Unveiled at IFA 2026, the OMVI 2i Ultra, an all-in-one home security solution, is now available for purchase and delivers dual-view coverage, solar charging, and SyncTrack smart tracking in a wire-free, bullet-PTZ design. Now, users can cover driveways, yards, entrances, and side spaces with fewer devices and simpler installation.

"Consumers shouldn't have to choose between seeing the full picture and capturing the details that matter," said Annie Potter, Head of Marketing, Reolink North America. "From homeowners to business owners, the OMVI 2i Ultra is designed to deliver both, combining wide-area visibility with the ability to closely track activity across the spaces people want to protect. And with smart detection happening directly on the device, users can focus on meaningful activity—like people, vehicles, and animals—rather than simply getting more alerts."

Key features of the OMVI 2i Ultra

• Dual-View Coverage: The bullet-PTZ camera design combines features of a bullet camera and PT camera to provide dual-view coverage throughout the day and night. See the full scene with an 8MP (4K) wide-view camera, while a 5MP (3K) pan-tilt camera simultaneously monitors another direction and tracks detected objects using SyncTrack Tracking for full-area coverage and pinpoint control.
• Reolink SyncTrack: When the wide-view camera detects an object, the lower pan-tilt camera (355° pan & 55° tilt) maintains continuous, all-around tracking — even after the target moves beyond the wide-view camera's coverage. The auto-framing feature lets the PT cam automatically zoom in and adjust the view when it detects a target. Users can also tap anywhere on the wide-angle view to direct the PT camera to that exact spot.

• Longer Battery Life with Worry-Free Charging: A detachable 10,000mAh battery delivers up to 6 months* of use on a single charge — double the battery life of comparable bullet-PT cameras.** A built-in 6W solar panel featuring Reolink SolarEase™ technology increases charging efficiency by 26% and keeps the camera running on just 30 minutes of daily sunlight, even in low-light and partially shaded conditions.

The OMVI 2i Ultra provides an all-in-one home security solution with seamless installation and added security benefits. On-device smart detection identifies people, vehicles, and animals and focuses on critical activity, paired with a motion-activated spotlight, dual PIR sensors, infrared and color night vision, and siren and light deterrence. Supporting up to 12 simultaneous streams, it lets users access a real-time view and two-way audio. The OMVI 2i Ultra also offers local storage, including up to 512GB microSD cards and the Reolink Home Hub series, plus Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility. All features are available without a subscription or monthly fees.

Available on Amazon and Reolink.com for $229.99 in the U.S., the OMVI 2i Ultra enriches Reolink's OMVI Series and offers a variety of smart security options for consumers. For more information, visit Reolink.com.
