Austria's Lenzing Raises EUR301 Million via Rights Offering

02:46 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lenzing (LNZ.VI) completed a capital increase after raising 301.2 million euros through the issuance of 34,756,362 new shares at a subscription price of 8.65 euros each. The Austrian integrated fiber company said Wednesday that existing shareholders subscribed for 99% of the rights offering, with the remaining shares sold in the market by the managing banks. Lenzing plans to use the proceeds to strengthen its balance sheet and fund its "Grow Nonwovens, Reset Textiles" strategy. The new shares are expected to begin trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange on Friday.
