Ashtead Technology Receives GBP505 Million Takeover Proposal from Ember Infrastructure Management

02:36 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ashtead Technology Holdings (AT.L) agreed to the terms of a takeover offer of 505 million pounds sterling from Ember Infrastructure Management's Pine Acquisition UK Bidco, according to a Wednesday filing. Directors of the London-listed underwater technology company unanimously recommended the offer of 6.15 pounds per share in cash, deeming the terms of the proposal to be fair and reasonable. The transaction will be carried out through a scheme of arrangement, with completion expected late in the fourth quarter of 2026 or early in the first quarter of 2027, subject to closing conditions.
