Saudi Appeal Court Upholds First Instance Court's Ruling in Twareat Medical-Sabic Case

01:48 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- A Saudi Court of Appeal upheld the first instance circuit court's preliminary ruling in Twareat Medical Care's (SASE:9627) case against Saudi Basic Industries (SASE:2010), d/b/a Sabic, according to a Wednesday filing. In its Oct. 6 preliminary ruling, the first instance court ordered Sabic to pay 1 million Saudi riyals in the ongoing compensation case and reimburse the Saudi Arabia-listed medical services company the expert fees it deposited. Twareat Medical appealed against the preliminary ruling. The lawsuit relates to financial differences arising from Sabic's failure to provide the minimum number of medical tests contractually agreed upon by the companies between 2019 and 2024.
