NCC Wins SEK680 Million Expanded Contract in Sweden

02:00 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NCC (NCC-A.ST) secured a 680 million-krona contract to continue and complete the refurbishment of the Öland Bridge between Öland and mainland Sweden. The Sweden-listed construction company said Tuesday the expanded contract covers concrete repairs to 134 of the bridge's 155 spans. In 2025, NCC implemented the first phase of the project by repairing 13 spans. The project, awarded by the Swedish Transport Administration, will start in 2027, with completion scheduled for 2030.
