Volvo Group to Launch Mining Business in FY27

05:31 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AB Volvo (VOLV-A.ST), d/b/a Volvo Group, will establish a mining entity for the sale of trucks, construction equipment, and autonomous solutions to mining customers and their contractors. The automaker will unveil Volvo Mining on Jan. 1, 2027, according to a Monday release. Volvo Mining will target operations in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, before a phased expansion into additional markets.
